This is one of the questions I get most. There are five RigExpert Stick cases in the shop. All five fit the Stick 230, Stick 500, Stick Pro and Stick XPro. The difference is how you carry your analyzer and what else you bring with it.
You want the smallest case
The Slim Case is the smallest one we make. It has a TPU gasket and snap latches. Your adapters and USB-C cable ride in the lid. It's a good pick when space in the go-bag is tight.
You want it to lay flat on the bench
The Hinged Protective Case opens flat on both sides. It's put together with real screws and rare earth magnets. A rubber seal helps keep the inside dry. Adapters go in a small compartment with a magnetic lid.
The Upgraded Case is the same idea with more organizing. The top compartment has cutouts for your adapters. There's a spot for the USB cable too. An inner lid with a finger hole makes it easy to open.
You carry a lot of adapters
The Large Storage Case has six slots for connectors. There's extra room for cables and a lanyard. It measures 8.25 x 5.25 x 2.375 inches. The gasket helps with weather, but it is not waterproof.
Your gear gets knocked around
The Twist-Lock Case Kit is two tubes. One holds the analyzer with its USB-C cable. The other keeps your BNC and N-type adapters away from the screen. TPU inserts cushion the analyzer if it gets dropped. The cap holds up to 25 characters of text.
You lost the cap
It happens. We print a replacement cap for the Stick series with your call sign on it.
The short version
- Smallest: Slim Case
- Lays flat on the bench: Hinged or Upgraded Case
- Lots of adapters: Large Storage Case
- Rough field use: Twist-Lock Case Kit
Every case is printed in house in Washington, Illinois. Most of them can have your callsign printed right in. Still not sure which one suits the way you operate? Send me a note on the contact page.
